McIlroy makes the cut in S.Carolina..

Teenage sensation Rory McIlroy kept up his brilliant record in the USA,when he made the half wat cut on 1 over par 143.Rory added a level par 71 to go with his first round 72.He is in joint 48th place,10 shots behind the leader Brian Gay in the Verizon Heritage classic in Hilton Head,South Carolina.
Rory is number 1 in the driving distance. He has an average drive of 299 yards.


Defending champion Damien McGrane will not take home the trophy this year from the Vovlo China Open. He had a miserable 3rd round with only 1 birdie and 7 bogeys for a 78.
Paul McGinley slipped back from the leaderboard with a 75 and join's fellow countryman Gareth Maybin who had his second 70 in a row.
