McIlroy finds out you DRIVE for show..........

Rory McIlroy is back in his home town of Holywood after a great spell in the USA.
He admitted to having not enjoyed his final tournament,which saw him outside the top 20 for the first time in 6 US tournaments
The old saying "You drive for show,and putt for dough" was very evident this week,as Rory led the driving distance table,averaging 298 yards off the Tee,yet he finished in 58th place on +2 after rounds of 72,71,72,71.
The winner Brian Fay won the tournament with a 20 under par total. He was 22 shots ahead of Rory,but his average drive was only 260 yards.38 yards short of Rory.
Luke Donald had his best finish for some time and finished joint 2nd with Binny Baird
on 10 under par. Donald's average drive was 273 yards.25 yards less than Rory.
