Hilton Templepatrick Professional, Marcus Twitchett won the 36 hole Cairndhu Pro-Am with two steady rounds of 69 and 68 ( -3 ) to overtake the overnight leaders Robert Giles ( Greenore ), Stephen Hamill ( Lisburn ) and Brendan McDermott ( Castlecomer ). Giles added a level par 70 to take 2nd place on 138 ( -2 ) while Hamill, 71 shared 3rd place with Gary Chambers ( Killymoon ) on 139 ( -1 ). McDermott took 73 and finished 7th along with Brendan McGovern ( Headfort )on 141 ( +1 ).
Peter McClelland ( Unattached ) walked off with the team prize with a fantastic 36 hole total of 187 points. Robert Giles' team came in 2nd, 8 points behind the winners with 179 points.
