Europro golfers blown away at Slaley Hall tour championship.

The top 60 golfers on the Europro tour have come together to play the season ending tour championship.The 54 hole event is being played at Slaley Hall in Northumberland.

The golfers had a tough task as they had to contend with gale force winds and rain as well as bumpy greens.

There was only 4 players to finish under par in the first round.Chris Hanson(28th)is the early leader after a 2 under par round of 70.Paul Doherty(4th),Recent winner Sandeep Grewel(11th) and Llewellyn Matthews(50th) are close behind on 1 under par,70.
No1 player Scott Jamieson is down in 23rd place on 76 +4.

Tim Rice(48th) and Brian McElhinney(36th) are the best of the Irish on 75 +3.Despite a run of 7 bogies in 8 holes,Barrie Trainor(37th)recovered for a round of 76 +4.Michael Collins(34th) struggled to a 78 +6 and Brendan McCarroll(60)found the going difficult and ended with a 9 over par 81.
