Portugal's JOSE-FILIPE LIMA shot a final round of 72 to win the ECCO TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP in DENMARK and in doing so stopped the favorite EDOARDO MOLINARI from gaining his 3rd win with an automatic place on the main European tour.It earned Jose a cheque for 28,800 Euros and a move into 3rd on the merit table.
The tournament was reduced to 54 holes because of rain on the Saturday.The final round was played under difficult conditions that saw all the scores going above par,but it was Lima who handled the pressure with a 72 to pip Molinari by 1 shot after he took a 74.
Irelands only qualifier,Colm Moriarty finished well down in 39th place after a closing 77 left him on +9.
