ROSE IS BLOOMING AFTER SECOND PGA WIN.

Justin Rose captured his second PGA Tour win inside a month in America when he won the AT&T National at Aronimina Golf club in Pennsylvania on Independance day,to add to his first ever PGA win at the Memorial event at the start of June.

It could have easily been three in a row as he had led the Travelers Championship the previous week by three shots going into the final round. He lost his putting stroke on the back nine, finishing down in 9th with a 75 behind left hander Bubba Watson.

He found himself in the same position in this AT&T tournament with a three shot lead and extended it to five with a brilliant second shot to the long 9th hole for an easy eagle three.Even though he hit all nine greens on the back nine,he three putted the 10th and 11th.Rose held his nerve to par the last seven holes to win by only one shot from Ryan Moore who had eight putts over the last eight holes for a closing 65.

It has been quite a month for Rose. His win was worth $1,116 Million to add to the $1,080 Million from the Memorial. He has now moved into second position in the FEDEX CUP rankings behind Ernie Els and has won a place at St Andrews for the Open Championship.

It was at the 1998 Open at Birkdale that Rose made himself known. He was a 17 year old amateur who played fantastic golf, including a 50 yard approach shot into the hole at the 18th for a share of 4th place. He turned Professional the next day and had to wait until his 22nd tournament before he made a halfway cut and a cheque.

He has come a long way since that, and who would bet against him at St Andrews ?
