Gareth Shaw flying Irish flag in Challange tour event.

Gareth Shaw is the only Irish golfer left in the PIEMONTE OPEN in TORINO,ITALY and he sits 14 behind local favorite Edoardo Molinari going into the final round.
Molinari is well ahead of the field after rounds of 67,67,66 -16.
Shaw is playing steady and has hit 73,70,71 -2 for joint 28th spot. He needs a good round tomorrow as he has only made 3175 Euros from 3 events and is sitting in 44th place, well outside the top 20 that will get Full cards for the European tour next year.
The other Irish players missed the half way cut.Noel Fox improved with a 71 after a poor 75 in round one,and Colm Moriarty who looked like making his first cut this year after a 2 under par 70,followed up with a miserable 77.
