Shane Lowry wins Irish Open.

Esker Hills amateur golfer,22 year old Shane Lowry broke all sorts of records in the 3 irish Open at Baltray yesterday.
The records: 1st Professional event.Shot lowest ever round in a European event.62 -10 in round two as an amateur.Only the third amateur to win a European tour event.
It was a fairytail for Shane as he matched Robert Rock, shot for shot and even held his nerve to go 3 tie holes before a 2 foot putt for par gave him the title.

He has a big decision to make this week. Will he wait for the Walker Cup or turn Professional and take advantage of a 21/2 year exemption.

Open champion Paul lawrie collected the keys to a Audi A5 Cabriolet worth 40,000 Euros for a hole in one at the 17th hole during the second round.
It was Lawrie's 5th hole in one,but the first won that earned him a prize.
