Lurgan man Gareth Shaw finished well behind local favorite Edoardo Molinari in the Piemonte Open played in his back yard in Italy. Molinari completed his 3rd Challenge tour win and jumped into 2nd place on the order of merit after collecting a cheque for 24,000 Euros. His total this year is 44390Euros,only 1862 Euros behind Englands Gary Boyd who finished second on -14 after a final 69.
Gareth Shaw completed another steady tournament when he finished 2 under par and picked up 1,275 Euros.It helped him jump up 3 places to 41st. He needs to keep moving up to make the top 20 before the end of the season.
