Shane Lowry turns Pro after Irish win.

22 year old Shane Lowry has announced he is turning Professional and take up a 2 1/2 year exemption on the European Tour after his fantastic win last Sunday in the 3 Irish Open.
Playing in his first Professional event, he was hoping to make the cut and gain some experience, for when he turned Pro after the Walker Cup in September.
Instead he walked of as the winner after a 3 hole play off against Robert Rock.
Shane spent the last few days talking to family,friends and his coach before he made it official that he will take up membership of the tour and make his first Professional appearance next week in the European Open at the London Club next week.

He is being supported by "Team Golf Ireland" and managed by Conor Ridge from Horizion Sports,who also look after Greame McDowell and Michael Hoey.
