McGeady only Irish to survive cut in Moroccan classic.

Out of 5 Irish competing in the Moroccan Classic Challange tour event,Derry man Michael McGeady was the only survivor,and he only managed to make it on the cut mark of 4 over par,12 shots behind English man Robert Coles.
McGeady fought hard after an opening 75,and got rewarded when he returned a second round 73 that will give him another 36 holes to improve his position.
Three Irish men missed the cut by 2 shots. Banbridge lad Richard Kilpatrick had a frustration day.He had 13pars and 5 bogies for a 77 to add to his opening 73.
Lurgan's Gareth Shaw had a pair of 75s and Colm Moriarty recovered with a 72 after an opening 78.
Dubliner Noel Fox added a 79 to his first round 74 to miss the cut by 5 shots.
