Frenchman,Mark Farry held onto his overnight lead to win the Handa Irish Seniors Open around the Montgomerie Course at Carton House with a final round of 69. Added to his opening rounds of 67 and 70.Farry won by two shots on 10 under par from Scottish Professional Ross Drummond.
There was a large Irish contingent playing.Eamon Darcy was the best of the home bunch finishing in 20th place on 1 over par.The home favorite,Des Smyth,never got to grips and finished well down in a share of 39th place on +5.
