Irish boys make a solid start to tour school.

Colm Moriarty who had a very ordinary season on the Challenge tour made a great start to the 6 round qualifying school with a 5 under par 65 around the TOUR COURSE at the PGA CATALUNYA complex in SPAIN.

He finds himself 5 shots behind the leader,Julien Gurrier who had a brilliant round of 10 under par 60.There is 5 players on 6 under including Jarmo Sandelin who had the best score of 66 around the STADIUM PAR 72 COURSE.

Gary Murphy had a great finish around the Stadium course when he eagled the par 5 12th and a further birdie left him around in 3 under par 69 and a share of 29th, alongside Simon Thornton and Johnny Caldwell who were both on the Tour course.

Niall Kearney who turned Professional just before the final qualifying had 3 birdies and 3 bogies around the Stadium course for a level par round of 72.
