Mixed fortunes for Irish at 2nd stage of Tour School.

There was mixed fortunes for the 12 Irish at the second stage of the European tour qualifying school in Cadiz,Spain.
While McIlroy,Harrington and 4 other Irish are playing in the mega rich finals of the race to Dubai,the 12 hopefuls at tour school are fighting for their lives and a job for next year.
The best is Simon Thornton who is in joint 6th spot at Sherry golf after a 4 under par 68.At the same venue,Eddie Barr who made the long trip from Austrailia is down in 57th place on 74+2 with only 18 to qualify.
Gareth Shaw is 12th at Arcos Gardens after a 2 under par 70,while amateur Niall Kearney had a 2 under par 70 at Costa Ballena club de golf and finds himself down in 25th place with only 18 to qualify.
At Hacienda del alamo,Johnny Caldwell is 7th after an opening 69 -3.
