Cork man, Michael Collins plays most of his golf on the Europro Tour but took time out to play the beautiful Adare Manor in an Irish PGA Pro-Am. It was worth his while as he walked away with the winning Professional prize and the top team prize for the Pro-Am.
There was a shot-gun start, as play was held back because of fog. Collins started on the 11th and had made 3 birdies by the time he reached the 18th. He followed up with 3 more but unfortunately took a double bogey at the 8th for a four under par round of 65. Collins made it a double win when he brought home the winning team score of 99 points playing with three local amateurs.
