(27)DAMIEN MOONEY WINS CURRAGH PRO-AM.

Big hitting Damien Mooney romped home to win the Irish PGA Curragh Pro-Am with a 5 under par round of 67. Mooney has already won the 36 hole Nairn & Portnoo Pro-Am and the Balbriggan Pro-Am this year.

Damien has now moved up to 3rd in the Lexus Race to Mount Juliet order of merit table. The Mount Juliet event will be played on the 16th October.

Greenore Professional, Robert Giles was runner-up to Mooney with a 3 under par round of 69.

Brendan Mc Dermott( Castlecomer ) was 3rd with a round of 2 under par 70.

Eddie Doyle( Heritage )took home the winning team with 95 points, 2 clear of Eamon Logue's ( Hilton Templepatrick ) team who had 93 points.
