There is a 3 way tie after the first round of the SCOTTISH HYDRO CHALLENGE event at the MACDONALD SPEY VALLEY GOLF CLUB on -4 67.
Robert Coles who won the CHALLENGE OF IRELAND event and is in 3rd position in the order of merit is in pole position with French man Julien Guerrier and local Andrew Mc Arthur.
Noel Fox is the best of the Irish on -1,70.Simon Thornton,Michael McGeady and Peter o Keeffe are on +1,72s.
Johnny Caldwell is on the cut mark of +2,73,while Colm Moriarty +4 75 and Gareth Shaw +5 76 will need to improve to make the weekend.
