Tiger wants the $1,080,000 first prize......

Tiger Woods is the host this week at the AT&T National championship at the Congressional Country Club, but he has made it quite clear that he also wants to win the first prize, not for himself, but to help the kids as part of his "Tiger Woods Foundation".
He opened with a superb -6 round of 64 playing really good golf.Round 2 was a struggle but he managed to play Tiger golf by making some of the best up-and-downs we have come to expect from the World's No1.
He somehow signed for a 66 to sit on top of the leaderboard at the halfway stage on -10.
His partner today will be Austrailian,Rod Pampling. Rod is on -9 after rounds of 67/64.First round leader and defending champion, Anthony Kim had a bad driving round for a level par round of 70 to go with his opening 62.Kim is 3rd on -8.
Jim Furyk is never far away.He is in 4th on -7 66/67 and having been 3rd here for the last 2 years he will be a threat to Tiger over the closing rounds..
