Richard Gonzalez was the 36 hole leader in Sweden in the SAS MASTERS at BARSEBACK GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB in MALMO,before a 77 in the 3rd round put him back in the pack.
A one over front nine left him trailing the leaders by 3 shots,but nobody was prepared for his finish.He birdied 5 out of the last 6 holes which gave him a round of 4 under par 69 over this 7,655 yard par 73 course and left him the winner by 2 shots from Jamie Donaldson who scored a 5 under par 68 to finish on -8.Jeppe Huldahi was 3rd on -6 with a closing 74.Overnight leader Marcus Frazer was in a group of 7 players who tied for 4th on -4.
The best of the Irish was Gareth Maybin in joint 12th after a level par round of 73 left him -2 for the tournament.peter Lawrie shot a 74 for 27th place on +1.Gary Murphy hit a 75 for 38th place on +3.Michael Hoey,76 for 43rd on +4,and Damien McGrane was 53rd on +6 after a 78.
