Another new winner on the European Tour.

26 year old German,Jeppe Kuldahi became the 9th first time winner on the European tour this year when he won the Celtic Manor Wales Open with a final round of 67.He out shone the more experienced,by hitting 4 biries and 14 pars.(He finished with 7 pars in a row.)His -9 total won by one shot from Niclas Fasth.
Sitting in 188th in the race to Dubai with only 39,943 Euros from 14 outings and 377th in the World rankings you would expect Jeppe to show some pressure when being chased by players like Niclas Fasth and Ignacio Garrido, but it was the other way around.
Fasth dropped shots at the 16 &17th to come up one short, and Garrido who had got to level with Jeppe after 15 holes, doubled bogied the 16th to finish 3rd on -7.
Paul McGinley got to -6 after 11 holes, but cannot hold his game together. He lost 3 shots in 4 holes and finished down in joint 15th place on -3.
Peter Lawrie had a good 69 to finish 24th on level par and Johnny Caldwell was holding up the field on +9 after a 75.
