Carl Mason won his 3rd De Vere Seniors championship title at Slaley Hall after a closing 69 left him on -9 for a 3 shot victory.The win was worth 47,115 Euros.
His previous wins were in 2004 and 2007. It was also Carl's 21 Seniors victory and he is now only 2 away from catching Tommy Horton who has 23 wins
Jimmy Heggarty closed with a 71.His -2 total left him in 8th place,Des Smith rallied with a closing 67 to finish 21st on +2,Eamon Darcy was 36th on +5(74)and Peter Hanna was 63 (81) +23.
