Goosen in top gear in BMW in Germany.

Retief Goosen is in top form in the BMW International Open in Germany. After a good performance at the US Open last week,he continues to perform in overdrive.
He followed up his 64 with a 66 to sit on top of the leaderboard on -12.
5 of the 8 Irish made the cut after some impressive second rounds.Peter Lawrie hit a 68 to go with his opening 69 and is only 5 behind.Rory McIlroy only -1 yesterday got to -7 before 2 late bogies and a final hole birdie left him -6.Gareth Maybin 68 is on -5.Michael Hoey 71 and Gary Murphy 70 got through on a low cut mark of -3.

Shane Lowry will have to wait another week for his first cheque,but he is improving.
He started badly with a +2,74. After 11 holes of the second round he had got to -2 after 4 birdies. Only requiring one more birdie,he lost shots at the 15th & 17th to finish on 70.Level par was 3 shots too many.
Paul Mc Ginley is still looking for answers. He opened with a superb 68,but followed up with a 75 to miss the cut by 2 shots on -1.
Damien Mc Grane couldn't hole a putt and finished on level par 71,73.
