Only 3 Irish out of 6 made the +8 cut mark in the De Vere Seniors Challenge at Slaley Hall.Angel Franco held on to the lead on -3 after a second round of level par 72.
Jimmy Heggarty made a great 3 under par round to put himself back in contention on -1 after an opening 74.Des Smyth 73/75+4 and Eamon Darcy 73/77+7 will be around for the weekend,but out go Eddie Polland 76/77,Peter o Hagan 77/78+11 and Denis o Sullivan 75/83+14.
