Deloy Cambridge wins in Jersey after 4 hole play-off.

49 year old Jamaican Delroy Cambridge won his 5th European Seniors title when he collected the Jersey Open Seniors championship after a 3 hole play-off.Delroy hasn't won for 7 years and it was his second win in Jersey.He fired a super 68 to finish on -9 to catch Austrailian Mike Clayton who led from the start after an opening 64.
It took 3 holes to seperate them and it was down to a great up and down from a bunker by Delroy. His reward was a cheque for 24,394 Euros.

Des Smyth was the leading irish man when he closed with a 72 -5 for a share of 8th place.
Jimmy Heggarty was joint 23rd on level par after a closing 73 and Denis oSullivan was 38th after a good 70 got him back to +3.
