Johnny Caldwell should be well ahead after 3 rounds of the Challenge of Ireland at Moyvalley golf club in Ireland,but instead sits 1 shot behind Englands Andrew Marshall. Marshell was -3 for the last 6 holes to finish with a 67 and -8.On the other hand Caldwell lost 3 shots over the same stretch to go from -10 back into joint 2nd on -7 along with Francois Calmels and Peter Kaensche.
Overnight leader Ake Nilsson fell into the pack after a miserable day when he took a 76 to finish on -5.
Colm Moriarty held his ground with a level par 72,and is joint 13th on -4.17 year old amateur Michael Durcan who was doing so well after 36 holes,fell back after a 78 to +5.
