Caldwell in great shape in Moyvalley.

Clandeboys Johnny Caldwell is in great form in the Challenge of Ireland tournament,being played in Moyvalley.Swedens Ake Nilsson held on to the lead after a 68 to leave him on -9.Johnny Caldwell is in great shape after a second 68,and along with Nicolas Colsaerts sit only one shot behind the leader.Robert Coles who is sitting in 3rd place in the order of merit can move up this week as the leader,Edoardo Molinari and 2nd place Gary Boyd are not playing.Coles is only 2 shots behind the leader on -7 after rounds of 68/69.
Michael Mc Geady shot a course record 66 to join Colm Moriarty on -4.
The cut came at +2 and Ireland have 11 players in action at the weekend including the young amateur Michael Durcan. Michael looked out of it after a first round 75,but rallied with a brilliant -4 round of 68.He is tied 26th on -1.
