There was 6 Irish in action in Sweden on the Challenge Tour.Between them they made only 10 birdies. The leader Andrew Butterfield had 7 birdies and 1 eagle for a round of 62 and a 3 shot lead after the first round.
Johnny Caldwell and Colm Moriarty had 3 birdies each,Michael Mc Geady had 2,Noel Fox and Simon Thornton had 1 each and Gareth Shaw couldn't find any.None are under par.
All 6 will have to improve tomorrow if they are going to be around for the weekend.
