There is a 4 way tie at the top of the De Vere Seniors event at Slaley Hall golf club in Northumberland.
John Benda,Gorden Brand jun,Angel Franco and Jeff Hawkes are tied on 69-3.Like the Irish players on the Challenge tour there was a lack of birdies in the Irish camp.The 6 players could only manage 11 between them and as a result none of them finished under par.
