4 Time Major champion and a double Irish Ladies champion Laura Davies got her eyes opened when she tee'd of in the AIB Ladies Open at Portmarnock Links in the company of 14 year old Leona Maguire and French star Jade Schaeffer.
The 2 seasoned Professionals were pushed the whole way by the remarkable game of Leona.She shot a +2 score of 74 and tied with Jade and beat Laura by a shot.It could have been even better for Leona as she messed up the par 5,13th taking a double bogey.
"She is an unbelievable talent", said Laura.Most girls are only taking up the game at 14,yet Leona and her twin Lisa have already won a large amount of tournaments and are breaking records on a weekly basis.I found out how this morning,Beamed Laura.
