Caldwell sole Irish surviver in France.

Englands James Morrison leads the way in the Saint-Omer Open in France after adding a 69 to his opening 67 to take a one shot lead on -6 at the half way stage.

Out of the 4 Irish players competing only Johnny Caldwell will be in action at the weekend.Johnny only made one birdie each round but with 29 pars and 5 bogies he made the cut by one shot on +3.
Colm Moriarty made a level par 71 but with a 76 in the first round he came up one short on +5.
Michael Mc Geady was out of sorts on +10 75/77 and Simon Thornton who had a steady start of 73 fell well away after a 83 to finish +14.
