Brian Gay wins the St Judes Classic from the front.

Brian Gay doesn't believe in close finishes. His last win in April at the Verizon Heritage Classic was by 10 shots,yesterday he won the St.Jude Classic by 5 shots from David Toms and Bryce Molder.
Not only did Gay pick up a cheque for $1008,000,it also qualified him for next weeks US Open at Bethpage.It moves him into 4th in the FedEx standings and into 35th in the World rankings.(It is Brian's first time to enter the top 50)
Gay is a revelation to all "Short Hitters",as all the talk in golf these day's are about distance.Gay's average drive was 265 yards,a full 50 yards behind Robert Garrigus who hit the ball an average of 315 yards,yet Brian returned scores of 64,66,66,66 to finish on -18,while Garrigus finished on -2.On average Gay was 4 shots better than Garrigus per round.
When gay won last month,his average drive was 260 yards,yet he beat Rory McIlroy by 15 shots and his average drive was 297 yards
