McIlroy safely through to US Open weekend.

At only 20 years of age Rory McIlroy knows how to make the cut at Major tournaments.
In only his 3rd Major he hasn't missed a cut yet.
In the rain delayed US Open at Bethpage Black on Long Island,Rory played like a veteran to hit 72/70 +2 to easily make the cut which will probably come at +4.

The early clubhouse leader is big hitter,Lucas Glover who is on -7 after 69/64.
The stats for both players are very similar on distance,fairways hit and putting,the difference is greens in regulation.
